Like it or not folks, we (the people of the world) are teetering on the edge of a massive financial crisis. It’s undeniable that making money these days isn’t as easy as it was just a few years ago.

So now we’re at a point where we the people (of the U.S.) are starting to feel the massive economic pressures the rest of the world is experiencing.

In Norway as reported by Natural News; there is a butter shortage. In this butter shortage there are people who are getting as much as $500 per pound selling butter online.

I’m not saying charging $500 per pound is right… but, supply and demand dictates price. If someone were to offer me $500 for a pound of butter I would sell it to them so fast it would make their heads spin.

When times get bad, you should be prepared to make money from the opportunities which will arise.

What practical skills do you have?

If the U.S. experiences the type of economic collapse that everyone from the IMF, Germany, Sweden, the U.K. and other countries & financial institutions are preparing for in the Eurozone… what will you do if you lose your job?

Of course trying to find another job in your field is at the top of the list; but what will you do to pay your bills until then?

These are questions millions of people across the U.S. are asking themselves everyday. If you wait until you need an answer before you start asking yourself that question, you’re starting at a disadvantage.

Practical VS Impractical Skills

These are my definitions… Practical skills are skills that you can use no matter what happens with society, you can do it yourself and your product or service relies on all people’s needs. Impractical skills are skills that are of no practical use and rely upon other people’s wants.

Yeah, there may be more to it than that, but in a nutshell… I think it’s a pretty good definition.

For example a car wash owner owns an impractical business. When economic times get tough, the last thing on most people’s mind will be taking their car to a car wash… on the other hand a farmer has a practical business as he relies upon him or herself to sow their soil, plant, grow & harvest their produce; which there will always be people who want to buy food.

Or, if you rock at getting to the 10th level of CODMWIII, you can beat anyone in WOW because of your level 10K fighting skills, you’re great at writing fiction novels, you’re an awesome life coach, nutritionist, personal trainer, personal shopper, making jewelry or any other array of jobs that serve no legitimate purpose in society, you could very well be up the creek.

Can you cook for people on a large scale? Can you sew? Can you watch kids? Can you build a house? Can you raise animals for food production? Can you build simple functional items that people need such as wood tables, shelves, benches, steel working, glass working? Can you fix small engines? Can you fix just about anything that’s put in front of you?

No matter what practical skills you have, you really need to be able to buy, sell, trade & barter as well or you’ll be screwed.

What type of skills are you learning to help you generate income if you have a personal economic collapse?

So go Google “The Defense Authorization Act” and come back when you’re more educated on the subject.

All I can really say about it is “Wow.”

The fact the military has the power to detain suspected terrorist (which the DHS has said “people with Ron Paul bumper stickers… people whom are anti big government… people who pay for everything in cash… people who purchase precious metals…” and the list goes on).

Fuck Obama… Fuck John McCain… McCain is one of the co-authors of this bill. This bill makes the Patriot Act look like nothing with how much it treads on our Constitution.

I think our government is out of control…

So much out of control our founding fathers wouldn’t recognize our country or constitution.

I can’t for the life of me understand why people are so supportive of our current government and the corruption it perpetrates. All it takes is a couple of common sense questions to ask then answer yourself.

How many people in the past 10 years in the U.S. have died from terrorists action?

Is our county moving in a direction to where you believe our children will have a better adult life than we did?

Do people who make $175K+ per year really know and understand what the average person in the U.S. is going through?

Can someone who is allowed to do insider trading really make laws that benefit the people instead of their pockets?

Who is personally benefitting financially from legislation they pass?

Everyone knows our congressmen are corrupt, why haven’t we the people done anything about it?

The President is taking credit for ending the war in Iraq when it was actually Bush who signed SOFA in 2008 that made 1/1/12 the date all troops had to be out of Iraq?

Did you ever think you would see riots in every major city across the U.S.? (Yes, I’m speaking of the OWS movement.)

Did you ever think you’d see a day when the indefinite detention of U.S. citizens on U.S. soil by the U.S. government would ever be a reality?

Did you ever think you’d see a day when idiots like Michelle Bachmann or Herman Cain would be considered serious Presidential Candidates?

The part of The Defense Authorization Act that I haven’t seen much reported on, which I feel is of tremendous importance is the part that places sanctions on Iran & people doing business with Iran. Israel seems ready to shoot at Iran, Iran has stated it has no problem shooting back… This despicable action of our government may have very well set in motion WWIII.

I have tons of things going on including building 4 websites, starting a couple of new companies and possibly opening a brick & mortar store too.

With that said, I’m simply going to use this blog as an outlet for whatever I feel like talking about… AND… I’m not going to allow comments anymore because I don’t care to engage anyone in conversation.

If you don’t like what I write, there are millions of other sites on the web you can go to… So now on to my topic for today…

Gold & Silver Down, Up & All Over The Place

I believe Paper Gold & Silver are getting ready to go through the floor… There is somewhere in the neighborhood of 45x to 100x more Paper Gold & Silver than Physical Gold and Silver depending on the source. I don’t know, but what I do believe is, Paper Gold & Silver to me are 100% fiat.

When we look at Spot Prices… that is primarily a starting point for trading Paper Gold & Silver… Physical Gold & Silver trade much higher, don’t believe me, go try to buy some locally or look at ebay and see how many pieces of silver are trading over $50 an oz right now.

I think over the next few weeks we are going to see SPOT silver drop to $20-25 an oz and gold down to around $1,300-1,400 while the Eurozone implodes. The reason is, I feel everyone in Europe will be rushing to USTs and we’ll see the dollar surge… until the contagion reaches the US by I’m predicting the 2nd quarter of 2012… During that time, I think Spot Silver & Gold will hover in the low $20s & $1,300s respectively while the Physical market gains steam.

What’s really interesting to watch right now (and I feel will play a huge part in the price of precious metals and the world’s perceived value in physical) is banks are suing each other for physical gold right now and whom is supposed to have ownership. We should see rulings start happening as soon as January or February 2012… In addition, watching banks & countries stockpile gold & silver right now is crazy… China’s y-o-y gold purchasing is up 4,000%… That’s not a typo.

I’m not a financial advisor, nor am I or would I ever give financial advise, nor should anyone take anything I write on this blog seriously as I could be and probably am considered a loon by some.

If there is an item that is $8.99 at Wal-Mart that was made in China and a very similar item at the local General Store is $10.99 but it was Made in the U.S.A… which is cheaper?

Our entire economy and monetary system are getting ready to take a huge dump on us… I believe the only way for the U.S. to pull up before we crash is for EVERYONE in the U.S. to buy everything locally… or at least in the U.S.

I feel large companies (like Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Target and so on) that distribute products primarily from overseas are hurting the U.S. economy severely.

If everyone in the U.S. made a conscious decision to buy Made in the U.S.A. the only way these large retailers would last in the U.S. is if they changed their ways.

So let’s take a look (in a nutshell) what happens when you buy Made in the U.S.A.

Product is made by U.S. Manufacturer and distributed in the U.S.

U.S. Manufacturer gets paid

U.S. Manufacturer spends money on parts from other U.S. Manufacturers

U.S. Manufacturer pays U.S. employees

U.S. employees spend their money locally

Product is distributed by U.S. Distributor in the U.S.

U.S. Distributor gets paid

U.S. Distributor pays U.S. employees

U.S. employees spend their money locally

Product is sold by U.S. Retailer in the U.S.

U.S. Retailer gets paid

U.S. Retailer pays U.S. employees

U.S. employees spend their money locally

This is an example of a ‘closed economy.’ The U.S. makes it’s own goods and sells it to it’s people. There is a LOT more that goes into the economic growth of a country… But if our economy stayed closed, it would be VERY hard for it to collapse because all of our money is staying here.

Now let’s take a look at what happens when you buy overseas (I’m going to use China as an example, because we’re their biggest importer).

Product is made by a Chinese Manufacturer and distributed in the U.S.

Chinese Manufacturer gets paid

Chinese Manufacturer spends money on parts from other Chinese Manufacturers

Chinese Manufacturer pays Chinese employees

Chinese employees spend their money locally in China

Product is distributed by Chinese Distributor to the U.S.

Chinese Distributor gets paid

Chinese Distributor pays Chinese employees

Chinese Distributor pays U.S. employees

Chinese employees spend their money locally in China

U.S. employees spend their money locally in U.S.

Product is sold by U.S. Retailer in the U.S.

U.S. Retailer gets paid

U.S. Retailer pays U.S. employees

U.S. employees spend their money locally

This is an example of an open economy. Which would be a perfectly fine way to trade IF the U.S. manufactured and exported goods around the world at a rate equal to or greater than at the rate we consume. But, the U.S. is a nation of consumers who want cheap products now and it doesn’t take a rocket scientist or even a degree to see the U.S. is NOT a manufacturing nation as it once was.

So people can argue back and forth about what type of economic system is best for world trade and blah blah blah. Who cares?

My Opinion is What Matters

The reality is, the U.S. is in a dire economic situation. This stems directly from the bad decisions the U.S. government has made with trading partners, funding illegal wars, over-spending and treading upon the words of our Constitution.

So in the above scenario… It may seem the product from China is less expensive… But it’s not. To use an Obamaism; buying good/ commodities from any other country but our own is “spreading the wealth” around with the world.

While “spreading the wealth around” sounds great in theory… What it is doing and has done is kill U.S. jobs and our economy.

The U.S. used to be the Super Power of the world… Now it’s not… China is the Super Power of the world…

Don’t Believe Me?

A solid way to tell how rich or poor a country is, is to look at the CIA’s “Current Account Balance” of countries.

What’s the “Current Account Balance?”

“This entry records a country’s net trade in goods and services, plus net earnings from rents, interest, profits, and dividends, and net transfer payments (such as pension funds and worker remittances) to and from the rest of the world during the period specified. These figures are calculated on an exchange rate basis, i.e., not in purchasing power parity (PPP) terms.” – CIA

China has an account balance of $272,500,000,000 (2010)

The U.S. has an account balance of NEGATIVE $561,000,000,000 (2010)… This puts the U.S. in LAST PLACE IN THE WORLD, as far as account balances go. In fact, the next runner up with a negative account balance is Spain with negative -$66,740,000 (our account balance is negative 9 times greater than the next poorest country in the world).

You can check out the entire list of account balances on the CIA website here… it’s a sobering reality of where we “the U.S.” stand.

China is in the works with our government to bring “special economic zones” to the U.S. and establish huge (50 square mile cities) in the U.S. too. This is similar to what China has done in Africa...

What a lot of people don’t realize is… These “special economic zones” in the U.S. will be given to the Chinese government (a company owned by the Chinese government that is). In addition; in Africa, China has imported MILLIONS of Chinese workers to come work in the “special economic zones.” While there are a few local jobs created around these “special economic zones” the majority of new jobs are filled by the Chinese.

How can you help save our country?

Buy locally… Buy U.S…. and don’t support another country to be given “special economic zones” in our country.

The MOST IMPORTANT thing you can do… VOTE… Vote the crooked/ corrupt bastards in our government out of office. Just don’t be an idiot and replace the crooked bastards more crooked bastards.

If you haven’t heard of Frank Kern, I’ll give you a little information. He’s a master Internet marketer.

Big deal… there are a LOT of master Internet marketers out there… Well, Frank’s shit works. The reason I know this is because a friend of mine made over $225K in 3 days using Frank Kern’s Mass Control 2.0.

WOW… That’s a lot of money.

Let me back up

So it all started out with a Realtor sending me an email a couple of weeks ago:

Just Checking In

Dear Brian,
A quick follow up note to answer any questions you may have.

Let me know what I can do to help.

Me being in a bit of a mood, I wrote the Realtor an email as well as sent him a copy of Art Sobzack’s “Just Checking In” article he wrote a few years back.

I planned on tearing the email apart then reconstructing it and showing how to write a proper drip campaign with all of the SWIPE for whomever to use at will.

Don’t get me wrong… I’m DAMN GOOD at email marketing. I’m DAMN GOOD at making my phone ring when I need to… That said, I did want to do a little research to make sure what i was getting ready to put up on my blog was the best info possible.

Fast Forward

I’m chatting with my buddy (yes, the one mentioned above)… and I happened to mention I was doing research on email marketing because I wanted to do a great blog post on the topic, but my blog post was turning into an entire email course.

I told him some of the strategies I had successfully used in the past and gave him an overview of what I was writing and getting ready to lay out.

Then my friend mentioned to me that he did a LOT of Internet Marketing. I knew he did some adwords and facebook stuff, but I had no clue about the amount of $ that he was making… MILLIONS…

WOW… it blew my mind…

Then he started telling me about how he swore by Frank Kern and had literally made MILLIONS from using Frank Kern’s Mass Control 2.0.

Then he went on to tell me about a launch he just did a few months ago where he made over $225K in 3 days… And this was on the exact same list he just made over $1 Million on at Christmas time a few weeks earlier.

Frank Kern’s Mass Control 2.0

“The Only True Wisdom Is In Knowing You Know Nothing” – Socrates

I’d like to think I know it all… But I don’t. And I’m not one to be so set in my ways that I’m not willing to completely change what I do and how I do it if a better way comes along. (yes that was a lengthy sentence)

Here’s the deal… Frank Kern’s Mass Control 2.0 has completely changed the way I view all marketing in general.

If you are serious about doing something positive with your business; invest in Frank Kern’s Mass Control 2.0. If you’re not, don’t…

This is the saying that number of dumb business owners have confidentially spewed out of their mouths to me over the years…

Here’s a Reality Check

Relying on cold calling as your sole form of marketing for your business is dumb.

There are millions of people on the Internet at any given time… Thousands of people every day are searching for what you offer.

If you’re not taking advantage of that, you’re setting yourself up for failure.

A Story With Purpose

A few years ago I worked as a Regional Sales Manager for an Internet Marketing company in San Diego County… I lasted 3 months before I handed in my resignation letter because of the horrible way they ran the company.

Between people quitting and getting fired, the company had a sales floor that fluctuated between 30-90 people.

They were running what I call a “chop shop” sales floor… It started with cattle call group interviews, then progressed to 0ne-on-one interviews (where the interviewer is forced to hire 2 out of every 3 interviewees no matter what). Then came the week of classroom training which graduated onto the sales floor.

Every class had an average of 30 people in it… We ran a class every 2 weeks… We’d be lucky to retain 1 person out of every 2 classes past 60 days.

Why?

Cold calling was the only form of marketing they relied upon. A sales person had to dial a minimum of 100 dials a day.

The Ultimate Sign That a Sales Manager Has No Clue

It’s not about the number of calls, it’s about the quality of calls.

Call quotas are what sales managers institute when they don’t have a clue how to increase sales.

They rely upon the “it’s a numbers game” mentality. The more you dial, the more chance you have at finding someone who may be interested in what you have to offer.

I can sit down and dial the phone 8 times to 8 different leads and I will get 2 sales. That’s because I’m not “spraying and praying,” “dialing for dollars,” “playing the numbers game” or any other dumb saying that poor sales managers use… I use good quality leads.

If you walk into a place that has “Call Quotas,” you might want to reconsider.

What’s a “Good Quality Lead?”

A good quality lead is a lead that has expressed interest in a product or service that you provide. That plain, that simple. When someone is actively searching for a product or service, they are already mentally in a buying mode.

I worked with one douche sales manager who would constantly tell his team… “Everyone want’s X, they just don’t know it yet… It’s your job to show them why they want it… It’s a numbers game, so get on the phone and dial for dollars.”

Bad, bad, bad, bad….

Yes, there is the occasional successful cold calling sales person… as a blind squirrel will always find a nut or two… But the majority of sales people suck at cold calling.

Cold calling does not create good quality leads… Sparking an interest in someone is completely different from someone who is already interested something.

Opening a Sale

The hardest part about cold calling is the opening.

There are some people who are amazing at opening, but couldn’t close to save their life… The majority of sales people I know suck at opening, but are good at closing. There are GREAT salespeople who couldn’t open a paper sack, let a lone a cold sales call… but with the right leads would make you millions (literally).

The ones who are good at cold calling during the onset typically start sucking at after a couple of months because they get burnt out. It’s rare to find a cold calling sales floor with salespeople who’ve been there more than a year.

Good quality leads will allow you to keep your good sales people. Good quality leads should have a closing average in the range of 20% with a goal of keeping a 30% closing average.

Why is Closing a Sale so Important?

That’s a great question.

I have no idea why so much emphasis is put onto closing the sale. Closing a deal is EASY.

Prospecting and qualifying is not only the most important part of the sales process, it’s the most difficult part.

If you prospect the wrong people, you will never have the opportunity to close a sale.

If you find someone who wants your product or service, but after spending 30 minutes on the phone you realize they have no money, you won’t have the opportunity to close the sale.

At least 90% of all sales training is on how to close the sale, not on prospecting or qualifying. Don’t take my word for it, go look at every piece of sales training out there. The majority of everything is spent on “closing the sale.”

Before you can close a sale you have to open it. The best way to do that is to make sure you start out with good quality leads.

Cold Calling Is VERY Expensive

This company might as well of had a revolving door installed. The owner and V.P. of Sales had their heads so far up their ass they thought the sky was brown.

The company paid around $2K per person per month in salary… 30-60 new people per month… lucky to retain 1 past 90 days… the majority will be gone within 6 weeks (because the sales quotas were crazy)… Do the math at how much money was being wasted on salaries each month?

I could have taken the salary of 5 employees every month and kept their entire sales floor flooded with qualified hot leads every month… They would have stopped bleeding all of their payroll and would have retained most of their good salespeople.

How did the Company Make Money?

The company made their money off of the recurring payments of their clients… A sales person might have got 10 sales in their 1st 4 weeks, but got fired because they didn’t get their quota of 12. Each client paid a recurring payment each month for their marketing and stayed on for at least a year (because of the contract) and something like 60-70% of the clients stayed on for longer than 24 months.

As long as a new salesperson made a minimum of 6 sales, the company would break even after about 9 months…

The Irony

This company was an Internet Marketing company selling websites to teach Realtors how to market themselves so they wouldn’t have to cold call or door knock; but the only form of marketing the company used for itself was cold calling.

Stop Right Now

If you’re doing the dumb thing… stop. Get on Google and start an Adwords campaign… Get on Facebook and MyAds and get some ad campaigns going.

Do some offline marketing to drive people to your online marketing… Direct mail, radio, TV, fliers, business cards; these aren’t as expensive as you might think.

Put a call to action on everything you do… For example; on your advertising put “Come to www.OnlineBusinessBlogger.com to get your daily dose of Business, Blogging and Bullshit.”

If you tell a person to do something, they’ll usually do it. People are sheep, that’s why polite commands work.

If you work for one of these dumbasses who refuses to pay for marketing… market yourself… Get your own site you can drive traffic to. Or better yet, find a new job.

Have you ever worked at a “Chop Shop?”

Why has silver dropped in value?

A lot of speculators say it’s because “the silver run has ended,” “silver was due for a correction,” “silver’s bear market is over,” “Bin Laden was killed, so the dollar is now stronger,” “the dollar was due for a bounce back, and silver is over.”

Anyone who believes anything of the sort is a fucking idiot.

There is 1 reason and 1 reason only that silver has dropped in value. That is because the CME (Chicago Mercantile Exchange) raised it’s margins by over 84% in a just over a week.

What’s a margin?

A magin is a type of collateral used to cover credit risk in trading.

Most people have no idea how trading works. It’s actually pretty interesting. I’m going to put this little lesson into terms a 3 year old retarded crack baby could understand. If you know how trading works, OBVIOUSLY there’s a ton more that goes into it, but this is like a high level overview.

Let’s say an investor wants to buy 1 contract of 5,000 ounces of silver futures at a value of $40 an ounce. ($40 is being used for simple numbers purposes.)

That 5,000 ounces of silver on paper would cost $200,000. So if a person wanted to buy 20 silver futures contracts, on paper the value would be $4,000,000.

Instead of paying $4,000,000 cash up front for the 20 5,000 ounce silver future contracts, a trader will pay the margin on silver contract . The margin is a small percentage of the contract price that is used as collateral against the contract amount. So instead of coming up with the entire $4,000,000 nut, the investor/ trader would put down a % based on what the CME set.

The margin on silver futures contracts (which are 5,000 ounce contracts) was $8,700 on April 25, 2011. That means, on that date with $4,000,000 you could have purchased 459 silver contracts with a face value of $91.8 million (using $40 an ounce for simple numbers purposes).

The margin on silver futures contracts today is at $16,200. So if that same investor who on April 25th bought 459 silver futures contracts NOW can only buy 246 silver futures contracts with a face value of $49.2 million (using $40 an ounce for simple numbers purposes).

So, if that investor had 459 silver futures contracts purchased with $4,000,000 on the margin… When the margins were raised, investors had to come up with a margin call. That means to continue to hold the 459 silver futures contracts the investor would have to come up with an additional $3,435,800 to cover the margin.

Because of the fact the silver market is primarily small investors and individuals (compared to the gold market which is comprised primarily of big investors such as large corporations and countries) when margins are raised, it causes small investors to sell their contracts to cover the new margins… That is EXACTLY what has happened here.

So when the CME raised margins, it effectively took the buying power away from small traders.

I personally think it’s a huge crock of shit to almost double margins in a week…

What’s up?

Here’s what’s up.

The demand for silver is still there. The people who wanted to buy silver 2 weeks ago are still buying it. They are just buying less than they could before on the open market.

Food and oil prices are still rising. The U.S. Government still has their heads planted straight up their asses with the economy.

I think margin requirements were raised to bump the small investors/ traders out of the market and open up some massive profits for the big players to buy more.

In the end

Here’s what I think is going to happen.

Silver is going to keep on going up against the dollar. I think silver will be over $90 an ounce by the end of summer and over $150 an ounce by the end of the year.

What do you think?

He was killed by a joint Navy SEAL/ CIA strike team last night.

First and foremost, I completely support our troops; I commend their efforts and I respect the sacrifices each one of them & their families have made.

I’m glad Bin Laden is dead. But I’m not taking to the streets, I’m not cheering or acting like fool over it.

What’s wrong with people?

Not just in the U.S., but around the world.

How do you feel when you see this video?

What about this one?

How to you think the Muslims who are at war with the U.S. and the rest of the world are viewing the U.S. right now?

The first word that comes to my mind is hypocrites.

Rejoicing, cheering and celebrating his death makes us no better than the Muslims who rejoiced, cheered and celebrated when 9/11 happened.

Also, taking to the streets in celebration of Osama’s death is basically asking for a retaliation attack. Osama is a Muhajid and a martyr in the eyes of Muslims. No doubt Osama needed to go; no doubt Osama’s death will bring a renewed “spirit” (for lack of a better word) for the Muslims to attack; but people in the U.S. celebrating Osama’s death is only adding fuel to that fire.

A Better Option

One of the best books in the world is The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey.

One of the habits is:

“Seek first to understand, then to be understood.” -Covey

It’s one of the most valuable life lessons I’ve learned.

I’m not a religious person by any means, but I’ve read both the Bible and the Koran so I can have a better understanding of their religions. After I finish Mein Kampf I’m going to read the Torah, then I’m curious about the Book of Mormon too.

There’s a saying in the Bible that I feel is completely appropriate for Osama Bin Laden getting killed, it’s to the effect of:

“Don’t cheer when your enemy falls or rejoice in your heart when your enemy stumbles.” – Paraphrased from the Bible

So what if Obama’s birth certificate is fake?

Who cares?

If Obama’s birth certificate is fake; a lot of time, energy, effort and money has went into getting him to where he is. And if someone or some entity were to take that much time, energy, effort and money to cover up where he was born, that entity wouldn’t let something like this derail their course.

Obama can’t really screw up the economy any more than it already is. I’m glad to see he assembled a new National Security Team to not only oversee the war in the mid-east, but to also oversee the budget and Pentagon spending. Maybe he’ll end the war in the mid-east as he promised he would do in his campaign.

But what if Obama wasn’t born in the U.S.?

Who cares? His mom was.

The fact of the matter is… our economy is too fragile right now to deal with a shake up on Capitol Hill.

What do you think would happen if Obama got impeached right now?

The entire world is looking at dumping the dollar as the reserve currency. The President of the United States of America is the most powerful man in the world.

If the rest of the world perceives we (the U.S.) have political instability along with the debt crisis and unstable economy… It could cause the rest of the world to not only loose confidence in the dollar, but in U.S. based businesses.

What that means is… no more foreign investors. Some people may ignorantly cheer and say “good, we need to make everything in the U.S. anyway.” While I agree with that sentiment, the reality is the U.S. has become pretty much a consumerist society. We rely upon most of the other world to supply our goods, oil and food. We can’t supply ourselves with everything we’ve become accustom to. Look at what happened to U.S. auto and electronic manufacturers with imports from Japan shutting down. Can you imagine what it would be like if the rest of the world stopped importing to the U.S. all at once?

Yeah… that would suck.

As much as I don’t like Obama and I think he’s the 2nd worst President behind Nixon… Regardless if Obama was born inside or outside of the U.S.; I feel we (as a country) can’t call for his impeachment right now for the greater good of our country’s economic well-being.

As much as I hate to say it… We need China’s money right now. They just announced a few days ago they were going to start buying more Euro bonds to help minimize risk from the U.S. $3 Trillion in bonds they currently hold if the U.S. dollar falls.

What next?

Move on and keep your fingers crossed that Congress can agree upon a balanced budget. Right now they are acting as if you or I had to cut $1,000 a month from our budget and we had a Democrat adviser telling us to cut $0.02 and the Republican adviser telling us to cut $.0.04… and both telling us to wait 10 years to do it… Except for Ron Paul…

I am completely disgusted with our federal government and the Federal Reserve. After watching Bernanke’s press conference yesterday really have to ask myself “Is the government and the Fed trying to kill the dollar?”

If Bernanke & The Fed were serious about curbing inflation, he would raise the interest rates above 5% immediately without hesitation. From the press conference, they (The Fed) believes they will be able to raise interest rates at the 1st sign of inflation to stop it. I know they aren’t idiots at The Fed, so I’m quite positive they also see that raising rates at the last minute won’t work.

The reason it won’t work is this… Inflation is happening right now. Food and oil inflation that we are seeing right now is not “transitory” as Bernanke said. Food and oil prices aren’t going to magically go down. Silver and gold prices aren’t going to magically drop back to $2 & $200 an ounce respectively without a major economical influence. Foreign economies are distancing themselves from the dollar, so that’s leaves to question “What major economical influence can be done for the U.S. Economy to turn it around?”

The biggest influence The Fed had on our economy and inflation was the Fed’s rate which has been near 0 for about 28 months now. The 2 rounds of quantitative easing (or printing money to give to the banks in hopes banks will lend more) did NOTHING for our economy except, put a lot of cash into big bankers pockets and caused inflation.

When an outside force acts upon a free market… The market is no longer free. Our country’s economic backbone has always been the free market and since the introduction of the Fed, it’s been manipulated and controlled. Bernanke admits the Fed was a primary contributor to the length Great Depression.

The Press Sucks

The reporters in the press conference Bernanke gave yesterday didn’t ask any questions… Not real ones anyway. I have 3 questions I would have loved to see been asked.

“What makes you think you have the right to exist as a private organization that acts as a central entity planning the entire financial market?”

“Can you show any proof that QE1 and QE2 worked?”

“Can you site any references in history that show a controlled/ planned market trumped a free market in prosperity?”

Nothing close to these questions were asked…

The Fed backed by the U.S. Government is stealing wealth from all of us ordinary tax payers.

In July of 1971, silver traded for $1.57 an ounce as of right now silver is trading at $48.48 an ounce.

Did silver become more valuable?

Yes, against the dollar it has. That’s because the worst U.S. President in history (Richard Nixon) took us off of the gold standard on August 15th 1971.

In the past 40+ years the U.S. has seen extraordinary inflation… Nothing transitory about it. This is an issue that no-one on Capitol Hill is or has addressed. What we’ve seen over the past 40+ years is a MASSIVE expansion of government and corporate interests tied to the government.

What happened to people paying their own way? When did we get to the point as a country that we the people need so much help and support from the government? When did corporate profits start outweighing the will of the people?

Disconnect

Our entire Legislative and Executive branches of the government are completely out of touch with what’s going on with the rest of the nation.

How can a person who has served in congress for 20 years (who makes a $174K per year) understand what it’s like to be a regular person living in the U.S.

They can’t…

Democrat… Republican… It doesn’t matter. They all need to go. The Republican party isn’t following traditional party beliefs, it should be called the Conservative Democratic Party… The Democratic party should be called the Democratic Socialist Movement.

I don’t believe our deficit should be raised… And I’m not a Tea Partier…

The U.S. media outlets try to make people who believe in not raising the federal deficit as “crazy” and “playing to the Tea Party.”

Really??? Not wanting our country to be in debt is a bad thing???

Governement spending is OUT OF CONTROL…

Our spineless dictator… errr…. president is nothing more than a puppet for corporate interest. At least with the oil war in Iraq, Bush made up “weapons of mass destruction;” opposed to Obama’s unprovoked oil war in Libya and him just doing it.

Wall Street, The Civilian Military Complex and schools of higher education were Obama’s biggest supporters in his 08 presidential bid. Here are some of the top contributors to Obama’s campaign

The war machines gave him a lot of cash. No wonder Obama re-negged on his promises to bring the troops home and end the wars in the mid-east. They obiously supported him so much, he had to give them another war (Libya).

Above is a small list of the top contributors for just the presidential campaign. There are 535 members of Congress. Every one of them gets campaign contributions. Campaign contributions from organizations run into the hundreds of millions of dollars.

When organizations give you hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars, you owe them something.

What to do?

I’m for firing all of our government employees and starting over. That’s completely implausible, but it sounds good.

In all seriousness… big corporations run our country… There may be a few freshmen in Congress and maybe 2-3 tenured Congressmen/ women who haven’t been distorted by greed and corruption. But I feel the majority outweighs the minority on this issue 100 fold.

The 1st step into stopping the corruption is to institute a law that only allows for private individuals to donate to election campaigns. The 2nd step would be to end the Federal Reserve Bank and place our dollar back on the gold standard. If those 2 things would happen right now, I believe our country may have a fighting chance to get out of the hole it’s in.

Unfortunately our Senators and Congressmen are fat and out of touch with the American people and I don’t think it’ll happen…

Anyone who has studied Roman history should be able to see some very scary similarities to the last years of the Roman empire and our current government.

Doom & Gloom

I hate to be all doom & gloom… But I whole-heartily believe our dollar is going to crash. I think we will see inflation over the next 2 years that will make the last 40 years of inflation look like nothing.

I believe we will see a massive economic shock by July 2011 come to the entire world economy because our Congress won’t be able to balance the budget; then the Fed will raise interest rates (because it’ll have to, to try to curb inflation); then the U.S. will default on it’s debt & domestic financial obligations and we’ll see complete chaos break out.

Facts

As of right now, our government has approximately $113.5 Trillion of unfunded liabilities… $14 Trillion of debt and a $1.2 Trillion annual deficit… Shame on our Government.

The Federal Reserve through QE1, QE2 and their policies have flooded the world with dollars, making them less valuable.

The majority of the G20 want another reserve currency and they are looking to the Chinese Yuan as a possible 2nd world reserve currency (which if implemented would instantly kill the dollar.)

A 3 year old retarded crack baby could see our economy and our dollar are on very thin ice.

What do you think will happen with our economy?
